The Birmingham Rockets Dynamic Duo - Ball with your Hero Basketball Sessions is a structured basketball initiative designed to bring fathers, sons, and positive male role models together through sport.

The main aim of the programme is to strengthen relationships, build confidence, and highlight the importance of consistent positive male influence in a young person’s life through shared activity and engagement.

This programme is designed for boys aged 7–14 years and their accompanying male role model, including fathers, stepfathers, uncles, older brothers, mentors, or guardians.

No basketball experience is required. All sessions are inclusive and suitable for all ability levels.

JULY – GAME EXPERIENCE PROGRAMME

💰 £35 per pair (full block) / £10 per session

The July programme focuses on applying skills in game situations.

Sessions are designed around gameplay, teamwork, and real-time decision-making. Fathers and sons experience basketball together in a fun, structured, and supportive environment that encourages communication and shared achievement.

Male role models play a key part in guiding, encouraging, and reinforcing positive behaviour during gameplay.
