The Birmingham Rockets Dynamic Duo - Ball with your Hero Basketball Sessionse is a structured basketball initiative designed to bring fathers, sons, and positive male role models together through sport.

The main aim of the programme is to strengthen relationships, build confidence, and highlight the importance of consistent positive male influence in a young person’s life through shared activity and engagement.

This programme is designed for boys aged 7–14 years and their accompanying male role model, including fathers, stepfathers, uncles, older brothers, mentors, or guardians.

No basketball experience is required. All sessions are inclusive and suitable for all ability levels.

📍 Venue: Nechells Wellbeing Centre
🕕 Fridays, 6:00–7:00 PM

💰 £35 per pair (full block) / £10 per session

The August sessions provide a flexible summer programme designed to maintain engagement, activity, and connection.

Sessions include a mix of basketball skills, games, and challenges, while continuing to reinforce the importance of positive male role models being present, active, and involved in a young person’s development.
