This half term, we’re hosting a fast‑paced, high‑energy 3x3 basketball tournament for players aged 12–14 (Years 7, 8 & 9). Designed for young athletes who love competition, teamwork, and high‑intensity basketball, this event brings together the excitement of FIBA 3x3 with the fun and atmosphere of a Rockets game day. Teams will compete using the official FIBA 3x3 format, keeping gameplay quick, dynamic, and action-packed. Throughout the day, members of the Rockets Senior Men and Senior Women will be on hand to offer guidance, tips, and encouragement - giving players the chance to learn from top‑level athletes while battling it out on court. To enter, players must sign up as individuals; however, they must already be part of a team of at least 4 players in order to compete. Each player must include their team name when completing their registration. With only 10 team spaces available in this age category, this promises to be one of the most exciting highlights of the half‑term holidays. Games may be recorded, and highlight clips could be shared on social media - so get ready for the world to witness the broken ankles, clutch buckets, and dagger game‑winning threes that make 3x3 basketball unforgettable. Running from 10:00am to 3:00pm, this tournament offers young athletes a fun, competitive, and professionally delivered experience that celebrates teamwork, skill, and the spirit of the game. Players should bring a water bottle and packed lunch for the day. Entry is priced at £17.50 per player, making this an accessible and exciting opportunity for teams ready to compete for the Rockets 3x3 Champion title.
