Mini Rockets Basketball Skills Day – Easter Camp Join us for a special Mini Rockets Basketball Skills Day for boys and girls aged 6–11, led by Coach Mike Price and supported by the City of Birmingham Rockets coaching team. This one-day camp is designed to help young players develop their b …moreasketball skills in a fun, supportive, and energetic environment. Players will take part in a variety of activities focused on learning the fundamentals of the game while building confidence and enjoying basketball. Throughout the day, players will work on: • Ball handling and dribbling • Passing and teamwork • Shooting technique • Footwork and coordination • Finishing at the basket • Fun competitions and small-sided games The session will be delivered by Coach Mike Price and four additional Rockets coaching staff, ensuring players receive plenty of attention, guidance, and support throughout the day. Coach Mike Price is the lead coach for our Mini Rockets Saturday sessions. He brings a wealth of experience as both a player and a coach and is known for his great energy, passion for the game, and dedication to helping young players learn and enjoy basketball. Coach Mike takes the time to work with every child and creates a positive and supportive environment for all players. The camp is suitable for all abilities, whether players are new to basketball or already part of a team. 📍 Location: Nechells Wellbeing Centre 📅 Date: Tuesday 7 April 2026 ⏰ Camp Schedule Full Camp 10:00 – 15:00 Morning Session 10:00 – 12:15 Afternoon Session 12:45 – 15:00 Players attending the full day should bring a packed lunch. If any parents need to drop their child slightly earlier or collect them later, this can be arranged. Please let us know in advance so we can plan accordingly. 💷 Prices Rockets Members Full Day – £18 Half Day – £10 Non-Members Full Day – £26 Half Day – £15 Spaces are limited to ensure every player receives quality coaching and a great experience, so we recommend booking early. less

🏀 Rockets Player Development Camp (Ages 12–15) Join us for our Rockets Player Development Camp for boys and girls aged 12–15, designed for players who want to improve their skills, compete and develop their understanding of the game in a positive and challenging environment. The camp wi …morell be led by experienced City of Birmingham Rockets coaches, providing a high-quality learning environment for players. Throughout the camp players will work on key areas of the game, including: • Advanced ball handling and attacking moves • Shooting technique and scoring from different areas • Finishing at the basket under pressure • Passing, spacing and decision making • Defensive footwork and competitiveness During the afternoon sessions, players will take part in a competitive mini league, giving them the opportunity to apply the skills learned earlier in the day in real game situations. This camp is suitable for players who already have some basketball experience and want to continue developing their game. 📅 Camp Dates 8th and 9th Players can attend one day or both days. Day 1 – 8th 10:00 – 15:00 Day 2 – 9th 10:00 – 15:00 We strongly encourage players to attend both days to get the most out of the camp, but a one-day option is also available for those who cannot attend both days. Players attending the full day should bring a packed lunch.
